Soterré :House Wren  (Sir Christopher Wren)

 

 The bird known as "Soterré" in Costa Rica is the House Wren (Troglodytes aedon). It's a small bird, about 10 centimeters long, with a brown coloration that might seem unremarkable at first glance. However, its song is quite elaborate and complex, especially the males who use it to attract females.
House Wrens are known for building their nests in various hidden spots, including building crevices and tree hollows. They are quite adaptable and can be found in a range of habitats from urban areas to forests.
