Hidden in the enigmatic depths of the Kukulkan pyramid in Chichen Itza, the throne of the Red Jaguar and the Chac Mool have remained shrouded in intrigue for over a millennium. This throne, embellished with jade accents, could have been a seat for a monarch or a representation of divine connection. Adjacent to it is the Chac Mool, a leaning statue that once protected tributes during sacred rites. What prompted the placement of these important artifacts in the secret structure of El Castillo? Could they have been an integral part of a long-forgotten ceremony known only to some of the Mayan elite?

 Dissimulés dans les profondeurs énigmatiques de la pyramide de Kukulkan à Chichen Itza, le trône du Jaguar rouge et le Chac Mool sont restés enveloppés d'intrigues pendant plus d'un millénaire. Ce trône, embelli d'accents de jade, aurait pu être un siège pour un monarque ou une représentation d'une connexion divine. Adjacente à elle se trouve le Chac Mool, une statue inclinable qui sauvegardait autrefois les hommages lors des rites sacrés. Qu'est-ce qui a motivé le placement de ces artefacts importants dans la structure secrète d'El Castillo Auraient-ils pu faire partie intégrante d'une cérémonie oubliée depuis longtemps connue seulement de quelques-uns de l'élite maya ?
