Euclid, is also referred to as Euclid of Alexandria, (Greek: Εὐκλείδης, c. 330 BC–c. 275 BC), a Greek mathematician, who lived in the city of Alexandria, Egypt, almost certainly during the reign of Ptolemy I (323 BC–283 BC), is often considered to be the "father of geometry". His most popular work, Elements, is one of the most successful textbooks in the history of mathematics.
"Speak of me as I am; nothing extenuate"~~~Shakespeare
Gaia, the Global Astrometric Interferometer for Astrophysics, is a European Space Agency astronomical observatory mission. Its goal is to create the largest, most precise three-dimensional map of the Milky Way by surveying about 1% of the galaxy's 100 billion stars.
Before his early death, Riemann freed geometry from Euclidean prejudices
The originator of the famous math hypothesis also established the basis for a modern view of spacetime
