ESCOBÓN:
Viendo el tercer film de Harry Pootter, The Prisoner of Azkaban, dementes (?) conexiones se me han sugerido, por ejemplo que por un lado la gente piense en mi como el prisionero y también como el DEMENTOR, lo cual no sólo es esquizofrénico sino que tambien mutuamente excluyente. También extrañamente en ese ritmo Halloweenesco se me ha ocurrido ver AZKABAN como ESCOBÓN y entonces Sirius Black sería el Prisionero de Escobón, pero la asociacion no resulta tan disparatada porque una buena escoba es lo que le permite a Harry Potter jugar bien el "Futbol Brujo"--Quidditch-- pero además la conexión sigue con Luke 9:2 : "And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. " y entonces predicar el Evangelio y sanar a los enfermos sería LA BARRIDA y no el ETHNIC CLEANSING....

Interesante perspectiva que me ha venido viendo the third installment of the series of Harry Potter.... ah y hoy es día de San Miguel...

 At ground level, the ruins of Stonehenge appear somewhat random and chaotic, but a view from the air reveals the monument's circular order. The site started out modestly around 3100 B.C. as a wide ring of wood posts surrounded by a ditch and bank. The familiar enormous rock slabs, some brought from hundreds of miles away, were added to the interior over a period of about 1,500 years.

Estas puertas que ven en mi foto, son de las mas grandes y miden aproximadamente 33 metros de alto y pesan 4,300 toneladas cada una. Hazel eyes are one of the least understood eye colors. This color is semi-rare and is a combination of several other colors including green and brown. Hazel eyes have less melanin than brown eyes, but more than blue eyes. Hazel eyes often appear to shift in color from brown to green. Hazel eyes are a combination of Rayleigh scattering, the principle that makes the sky and blue eyes appear blue, and melanin, the pigment that makes brown eyes brown.

The image showcases the amazing mix of physical and optical processes including atomic emission, Rayleigh scattering, reflection and absorbtion of light, that go on in this star forming region to create this kaleidescope of colours and details.

Blue Sky

The blue color of the sky is caused by the scattering of sunlight off the molecules of the atmosphere. This scattering, called Rayleigh scattering, is more effective at short wavelengths (the blue end of the visible spectrum). Therefore the light scattered down to the earth at a large angle with respect to the direction of the sun's light is predominantly in the blue end of the spectrum.

Note that the blue of the sky is more saturated when you look further from the sun. The almost white scattering near the sun can be attributed to Mie scattering, which is not very wavelength dependent.

Measurement of the progression of saturation and brightness

Clouds in contrast to the blue sky appear white to achromatic gray.

The water droplets that make up the cloud are much larger than the molecules of the air and the scattering from them is almost independent of wavelength in the visible range.
