The Gilbert Scott Phone Box
Prov.10:31
"The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out."

The K6, or Red Phone Box to you and I - was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott to commemorate King George V’s Silver Jubilee. We’ve come a long way since then, and the red phone boxes have become icons in their own right. Just look at the stunning photograph of The Royal Ballet’s Yasmine Naghdi taken by Brian Mengini. To celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics in 2012, across London’s streets there are currently replicas of the Gilbert Scott phone box, transformed by the imaginations of some of the very best creative minds.
The boxes will be auctioned off to raise money for ChildLine’s 25th anniversary.
