Se trata de la obra del maestro Francisco Paco Zúñiga, que durante décadas estuvo al costado norte del aeropuerto Juan Santamaría en el denominado Parque del Agricultor, sitio de donde el bronce fue removido en diciembre del 2011, luego de que vándalos se robaron algunas partes de la escultura.Un campesino labrando la tierra, acompañado por su mujer y un niño desnudo que se aferra a las enaguas de su madre, componen esta figura que rememora la lucha de muchas familias cuya labor consiste en extraer de la tierra su sustento.Alma Fernández, directora del Museo de Arte Costarricense -entidad que tiene en custodia la obra- afirmó que la ministra de Cultura, Elizabeth Fonseca, solicitó al alcalde de Alajuela, Roberto Thompson, valorar otras opciones diferentes al parque Próspero Fernández, el cual ese municipio alistó para recibir la obra

Work (1852–1865) is a painting by Ford Madox Brown that is generally considered to be his most important achievement. It exists in two versions. The painting attempts to portray, both literally and analytically, the totality of the Victorian social system and the transition from a rural to an urban economy. Brown began the painting in 1852 and completed it in 1865, when he set up a special exhibition to show it along with several of his other works. He wrote a detailed catalogue explaining the significance of the picture.

History: The Forth Bridge is recognised the world over as an impressive feat of engineering. At 2.5 kilometres long it still holds the record as the world’s longest cantilever bridge. It opened in 1890 and was designed by Sir John Fowler and Sir Benjamin Baker. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was recently chosen as Scotland’s greatest manmade wonder.
